Faith never knows where it is being led, but it knows and loves the one who is leading.

Bible Bite #3: God's Purpose
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
Psalm 138:8a
It is wonderful knowing that the God of the universe who created all things has a purpose for each one of us. Not only does he have a purpose for us, but he will fulfill that purpose. We no longer have to worry if our life has purpose, it does. We no longer have to struggle alone because God will fulfill his purpose in us. We can find confidence in this promise. May we seek his guidance and help daily as he fulfills his purpose in us.
Heavenly Father,
I stand amazed as I marvel at your creation. You are so awesome and yet you notice me and have a purpose for my life. Thank you for fulfilling your purpose in us. Guide us in your will and your way. Thank you for being there to guide us every step of the way.
In Jesus Name, Amen

An Infinite God
An infinite God can give all of Himself to each of His children. He does not distribute Himself that each may have a part, but to each one He gives all of Himself as fully as if there were no others.

Flag Day Remembrance
Happy Flag Day Friends. May we never forget those who gave some and those who gave all for our freedoms. We are so very blessed. Let's pray for those men and women serving our country and for the survivors of those who have lost loved ones as well as those service personnel and family members who are separated by distance right now. Let's pray God's provision, protection, and care over them.

Bible Bite #2: My Strength and Shield
Please enjoy this verse of scripture which I read during my daily devotion time and have chosen to share with you this day. The scripture verse is Psalm 28:7.
I believe it would bless your heart to also look up and read the verse preceding this one as well as the two verses following this one. Therefore, if you have a few moments, and feel so led, I encourage you to pick up your Bible and read Psalm 28:6-9.
This scripture is quoted from the NIV version of the Bible. I hope you enjoy this verse as much as I did today. May your heart leap for joy this day.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

Freebie
Most of us certainly like a bargain when we can find one. We especially enjoy finding coupons and ways to save at our favorite eating places. I found a site that listed a lot of places where children are allowed to eat free. Some of these places allow children to eat free all the time while others have a designated day of the week for children to eat free. I noticed that many of the places include children 12 and under, so this could translate into a big savings for many people. Let me know if this was helpful to you. Bible Bite #1
Psalm 100:3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Knowing that the Lord is God frees us to live with more confidence. He is our creator and his being God makes him sovereign over everything that has happened, is happening, or will happen in our lives.
I rejoice this day knowing that he has it all under control even when life and circumstances sometimes seems so out-of-control. I reign in worrisome thoughts, fears, concerns (including to-do-lists), anxieties both large and small, and bring them to the throne of God. Let us feel the release of tension and an overwhelming peace flooding our souls as we give these distractions to the Lord.
I choose to give these things to the Lord so that I will not be robbed of the abundant joy and peace that he offers me this day. This joy and peace is available to us all, and I pray that we will not overlook it amidst the distractions of the day. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Let us take comfort in this wonderful description of our creator knowing that the shepherd takes complete care of his sheep.
Prayer: Lord, you are God, and it is You who made us. We are your people, the sheep of your pasture. Thank you Lord for creating us and loving us. May we place our lives in your care this day and rest in you. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen
